Organizing to Decorate

After all the big pieces of furniture were in place, it was time to embellish!  Putting all the art in one room, the lamps and lampshades in another, knick knacks, vases, candles in one place, and books in another was a great way to see what I had and where I wanted it to go, trying different lamps, in one room for example to find the best one.  This is definitely something you can do when you just want to change up some of your spaces.  Take down your art, lamps, pictures, etc. and have your own art gallery to shop to create a "new" place with your own items.  Basically shopping your own house.  Its also a great way to find out if its time to refresh a space in other ways as well.
