Finding the perfect piece for a particular space

This piece was originally a very light mint blue and was purchased to fit in a particular place with just the right measurements.  It was an old tv cabinet, converted previously with lots of charm and sweet detailing. We used milk paint to paint it a darker green and then sanded it to distress it.  We finish fit off with antiquing wax which was perfect. It darkened it appropriately and gave it a beautiful sheen.
As you can see, the dimensions, color, and size is a perfect fit for this corner, the lamp and artwork contribute to a sweet space and looks beautiful!
