Artist of the Month Chris Erickson
" My art is an attempt to make
something beautiful out of used paper and cardboard. As an observer of nature, I
have been moved by the simple beauty that awaits us outside our door on a daily
basis. It is there I find the perfect form, the perfect line, or the perfect
color, waiting to be noticed. I draw a great amount of inspiration from the my
own garden as well as the alleys of South Minneapolis. I hope the new "life"
I've given these cards and books can help us think creatively about waste and
remind us to notice the
everyday beauty of
Mother Nature.
